Remote Access Maintenance Support
CRG Logics can now offer a service that no one in our field can offer.
We can, on a regular basis, dial in to the system and gather diagnostic data
that reviews the performance of the system. We will then generate a report
that we will analyze and send to you with an explanation of the results.
The report can save you money by…
- Reducing Machine Downtime
- Reducing Waste
- Reducing Quality Claims
- Reducing last minute service calls
Depending on intensity of use and facility capabilities we can offer the following 3 programs:
- Dedicated phone connection with modem
- Ethernet connection direct to the PLC
- Remote radio modem with dedicated phone line

One Time Cost of Programs
- Dedicated Phone Connection With Modem. $675.00
Allows us to call into the blender PLC and troubleshoot it remotely.
- Ethernet Connection Direct To The PLC. $1,705.00
Allows you to connect each individual PLC through an Ethernet card to your
Ethernet router. Each individual blender will have it's own IP address and allows
CRG to log in at high speeds and trouble shoot each system in real time.
- Remote Radio Modem w/Dedicated Phone Line. $2,530.00
The Rams Program consists of a system that uses a radio connected to a modem
with a dedicated phone line on one side, and a radio with modem to the PLC on
the other side. The radio is FCC, Part 15 approved, UL/CSA Class 1 Div. 2
approved (UL 508, UL 1604) and IC approved.
All Options Will Also Have A One Time Set Up Fee of $600.00
All Include Free Software Upgrades When Available!

RAMS Example Report
Reports will normally run over a time period of 30 minutes to gather
enough data to analyze the performance.
|
|
In this particular report we took a small sample of what the data might
actually look like. It shows the load cell raw data and the hopper weights
during the course of the run. This data will be analyzed and sent to you
with an explanation of what occurs. If necessary, we will then recommend
where to look for possible interference and how to resolve it.
|
|
|
In this example a feeder runs at a rate of 3600 PPH with no feeder or
loadcell problems. As you can see, however, there might be an issue with
the loading system. It appears somewhat slow in refilling the hopper at the
requested weight of 30lbs.
|
The loadcell raw data was taken between the time span of 48 seconds and
66 seconds on the weight loss graph. It shows an uninterrupted decrease of
output without any interference. This would represent a steady loadcell reading.

Preventive Maintenance Contracts
You can contract us to have one of our field service engineers visit your facility
to analyze the system and make any necessary changes, improving the system's overall
performance. This will help you catch possible quality claims before they occur, downtime
due to problems with the system and expensive last minute emergency serviced calls.
We offer 3 different contracts:
| Once Every 3 Months |
$5,850.00/Yearly |
| Once Every 6 Months |
$3,800.00/Yearly |
| Once Every Year |
$2,850.00/Yearly |
* Cost is based on 8 hours of service time per visit. Any time spent at
the customer's facility over 8 hours, including additional expenses, will be charged at cost.
* The engineer will supply you with a report on the scope of work that was performed,
and the changes that needed to be made to get the system back to performing to specifications.
